where one controls all money…
negating what the other will say.
And even when one spouse works…
the wages have to be given over…

Hmmm. I come from the school that it all goes into a a central pot for the aid and the benefit of the family. we all bring strengths to the table to help overcome someone’s weaknesses. someone always makes more than the other. one is better at budgeting and planning. one is better at paying the bills. but you manage finances together since it’s one of the biggest impacters on the health and welfare of the family. maybe I’m out of touch with today’s new world of thought.

I come from a family where my dad controlled the money. He used it as a “carrot”. Now my brother does the same. I have found myself in relationships with men that exhibit the same attribute but I have begun to recognize this and see it for what it really is….abuse
