There is always work to be done. Your to-do list tends to take on a life of its own at times. If you’re honest, the majority of your to-dos should be for someone else to do. We oftentimes put things on our lists that will make someone else’s life easier, and all the while God wants to show us that he wants to make our lives easier, too. Our lives are evidence that we have picked up the wrong yoke.

²⁸ “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” ~Matthew 11:28-30
